TOPIK II Full Preparation Course

The TOPIK II (Test of Proficiency in Korean, Intermediate–Advanced Level) is an official standardized examination designed to evaluate the Korean language proficiency of non-native speakers. It is conducted by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED), South Korea and is primarily intended for learners aiming for academic study, professional work, or immigration in Korea.

TOPIK II assesses a candidate’s ability to understand and use Korean in real-world and academic contexts, focusing on higher-level comprehension, analytical thinking, and structured communication skills.

This level is divided into Levels 3 to 6, where Level 3 represents intermediate ability and Level 6 represents near-native proficiency.

READING (읽기)

The TOPIK II Reading section is designed to evaluate a learner’s ability to understand written Korean in real exam conditions. It measures how well a candidate can interpret vocabulary, grammar structures, sentences, and complete passages within a limited time.

This section is considered one of the most challenging parts of TOPIK II because it requires not only correct grammar, but also the ability to develop ideas clearly, support them with appropriate expressions, and write in a natural academic style. Candidates must complete tasks ranging from sentence construction to paragraph writing and opinion-based essays.

Overall, the Writing section assesses both language accuracy and written communication skills, especially in formal Korean contexts.
