The TOPIK II (Test of Proficiency in Korean, Intermediate–Advanced Level) is an official standardized examination designed to evaluate the Korean language proficiency of non-native speakers. It is conducted by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED), South Korea and is primarily intended for learners aiming for academic study, professional work, or immigration in Korea.
TOPIK II assesses a candidate’s ability to understand and use Korean in real-world and academic contexts, focusing on higher-level comprehension, analytical thinking, and structured communication skills.
This level is divided into Levels 3 to 6, where Level 3 represents intermediate ability and Level 6 represents near-native proficiency.

The exam consists of three main sections:
🎧 Listening (듣기) – 60 minutes, 50 questions
📖 Reading (읽기) – 70 minutes, 50 questions
✍ Writing (쓰기) – 50 minutes, 4 questions
